Annual Meeting
This years annual meeting is set for March 18 2022 at the Columbus Hilton at Easton.

Medicare/CGS and AOPA important for Annual Meeting attendees. OOPA is pleased to be able to bring representatives to Ohio from Medicare/CGS and the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association during its annual meetings. The latest in depth updates are presented with ample time opportunity for Q & A.
Notes
The OOPA Medicaid Committee recently met with Ohio Medicaid Policy and a representative from the Medicaid Managed Care Division. It was learned that the prior authorization is no longer housed within Ohio Medicaid, but has been contracted to HP and that there has been ongoing training for the HP staff in all supplier areas.

Medicaid confirmed that Medicaid spenddowns ended as of August 1. Medicaid clients will be covered by straight Medicaid or the Exchange.
